Elizabeth Sequenzia, Executive Secretary

Liz became involved with Artists for World Peace through her connection with Wendy Black-Nasta, whom Liz took jewelry lessons from since age 13! After graduating in 2006 from Vassar College with a B.A. in Psychology and Italian, and spending a year in Italy, Liz returned to Connecticut and learned about the amazing work that Wendy and the foundation were doing. She got hooked after spending countless Sundays sewing funky hats with the other volunteers for the first annual Hats for a Cause event. Liz is now pursuing her Master of Social Work degree at the University of Connecticut, and works part time as the Coordinator of Arts in the Atrium at Middlesex Hospital Cancer Center. She is thrilled to be on the board of Artists for World Peace, as she is endlessly inspired by their mission and day-to-day work.
